Renewed Or Cancelled?
Love All Play is the latest mid-week K-drama, combining drama, romance and sport action into one series. If you’ve been following this one over the weeks, you may be wondering if this has been renewed or cancelled.
What is Love All Play Season 1 about?
Love All Play is the latest romantic sport k-drama. Also known as (the far less catchy) Going to You at a Speed of 493 km, this K-drama depicts the passion and affection for badminton from the eyes of a male and female protagonist, who work on a mixed doubles team. As the two start to grow closer together, their dreams and desired become aligned both on and off the badminton court.
Has Love All Play been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, KBS2 have not renewed Love All Play for season 2. Given the ratings over the weeks, it’ll be interesting to see if they actually do renew this for a follow-up. The ratings began with a low 1.9% share nationwide but since then, has been dropping to around 1.1% during the middle episodes. The final week’s ratings have been pretty low too. However, given most k-dramas wrap up their stories in a single season, it’s very rare to find these sort of shows renewed. Based on that, we predict Love All Play will not be renewed for a second season. We’ll be sure to update this section with more details as they become available.
What we know about season 2 so far:
Most Korean dramas are reserved to one season and with the rare exception of ongoing Netflix shows (Love ft. Marriage and Divorce, Hospital Playlist etc.) then it seems unlikely that this one will be renewed. However, there is always the possibility that the actors return for a follow-up or even a spin-off ala. the Reply series. Given the nature of this sport series, we could see another time jump, or even a whole new set of athletes pick up their rackets. We’ll have to wait and see if this one’s greenlit or not first though! We generally aim to update this page when more information becomes available.
