At its heart, War Machine is a political satire, entwined with a dark comedic centre. It doesn’t always hit and some of the more action-orientated scenes feel at odds with the film’s hopeless tone of one man trying to change the impossible war in Arghanistan in America’s favour. When the film is poking fun at itself and asking questions about what the point of the war is, it really shines....
4.4 Episode 4 of Wecrashed starts with big block writing across the screen. WeWork is losing 1.2 million dollars a day. At WeWork HQ though, Adam completely brushes this aside though, continuing to spin his charismatic wit and doing photoshoots and interviews for extra PR. At Benchmark Capital in New York, there are a lot of concerns that Adam and how recklessly WeWork are burning through money. Bruce tries to fight their corner, pointing out that Adam is the difference compared to other companies but obviously we know that’s not the whole truth....
Well Enough Alone Episode 2 of Westworld Season 4 starts with William on the hunt, drawing blood on his way to finding Dolores/Christina. While this is going on, Caleb and Maeve head out together on the road. Their travels bring them to the senator’s mansion, where Maeve turns off the cameras with her powers from afar because, yep, she’s still unstoppable at this point. Anyway, she’s looking for William but it turns out the senator and his wife are actually hosts too....
